The Pharaohs job is to rule the land religiously and socially. Each Pharaoh is seen as a representative of the gods. He looks after the Gods temples, washing, and cleaning, though some times he delegates this duty to the high priest. Every god is considered son of Ra.
Vizier
I'm like a ancient secretary. I give the Pharaoh help and advice. I also oversee other officials and judge law breakers. I also make sure people pay their taxes in goods or service.
High Priest
The high priest is like an secretary for the pharaoh. He oversees the other priests and has duties to clean the gods temples if delegated by the Pharaoh.
Merchant
The merchant is like a trader. He rows up and down the Nile selling goods such as papyrus, linen, pottery, grain and gold. They bring materials and goods from other places as well.
Solider
Soldiers fight in armies, divided into divisions named after gods, of roughly 5000 in each. They often contain Mercenaries paid by the pharaoh. When not in war soldiers supervise building.
Farmer
Farmers are forced to produce grain, barley and flax. During flood season farmers may move to work for the pharaoh and get reduced tax. When the floods dies down farmers start to prepare new soil for crops. The also irrigate the soil so water flows evenly.
Slave
Slaves are often prisoners of war of places like Libya, Syria and Nubia. They would often work as a household slave or a working slave out in the desert and fields.
